Brad Orr 30 years old. Grew up
in Hubbard, Ohio where residing
now. Learned to play the drums
by ear at the age of 13 and
continued playing the drums for
several years before being
recruited into a heavy metal
band called "The Fallout". After
getting fed up with the scene
that Metal brought Brad started
to focus on his true passion.
Country Music! "I grew up with
Country Music on the radio in
the truck as a small guy and
never really got into it until my
adult life after rocking to all the
80s cheese like Guns N Roses,
Motley Crue, etc." Brad  really
likes all the new rock edged
country music played today. It
wasn't until Brad was in the
Army, driving back and forth
from Ft. Bragg n.c. That he
realized how much he enjoyed
singing Country. "I thought I
was gonna wear out my Garth
Brooks CD".  Brad searched for
years trying to find a Pro Level
country band to back him up but
struggled finding one because of
the area that he lived in. He says
every band in the area played
rock. So that is what he settled
for taking the front man spot in
a local rock band. " Don't get me
wrong, it was fun. Its just not
what I had a passion for". Then
came TLH. Two Lane Highway.
The first true country rock band
that Brad found to back his
eager vocals. After some fine
tuning and small changes we
have what we have today,
Southern Detour.

Brad enjoys all of his one million
hobbies such as Hunting and
Fishing. Shooting in pool
leagues. Riding and racing ATVs
and dirt bikes. Drag racing his
73 camaro. Riding his Harley as
much as humanly possible.
Mountain biking. Just staying in
good shape. Of course he
enjoys the ladies when he has
the time. And lets not forget
Singing, drumming, Playing
some acoustic guitar and writing
music.
Brad's Microphone is a Shure Beta 87A  Wireless.  He plays a
Takamine acoustic guitar.  Brad's monitor system includes
M-Audio IE-30 dual driver ear buds and a Sennheiser 300
wireless system.
